In the world, there are plenty of organisations (listed/non-listed) that need funding and there are also plenty of investors ready to make a profitable exchange. The only problem, it seems, is in finding each other.
Nowadays, institutional investors have a duty to act in the best long-term interests of their beneficiaries. 65% of investors align their investment framework with the SDG.
The UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are a great tool for measuring sustainable progress within organisations. They allow organisations to clearly communicate positive impact, facilitate easier access to the growing market for sustainability financing, and connect investors with a pipeline of potential opportunities to address the ESG investment gap.
Through initiatives such as the SDG Forum and InnoESG Prize, the SDG World Records, and the Sustain.do (ESG-SDG) Leader Network, the forum allows organisations to engage external communities in developing human-centred sustainability solutions with ESG alignment for the radical implementation of the SDG.
The event deliberations will be on the following themes:
Incorporating the SDG into ESG Investment
Socially Driven Companies incorporating External Communities
Recognising companies who have made a positive impact in the areas of ESG/SDG
